Traditionally, Boys Palo Alto Midnight has formed competitive boys teams in the 5th (11U), 6th (12U), 7th (13U) and 8th (14U) grade age groups for the Fall and Spring. The Midnight model does not form pre-set team rosters, instead we offer a unique structure that allows for flexibility and individual development. We try to give as many players as possible an opportunity to improve their skills so there are often practice-only spots available as well as competition spots for each grade level.

Practices focus on the individual by focusing on all concepts of the game - shooting form, dribbling and handling the ball, strong defensive work, offensive strategies, optimal ball movement, and playing as the ultimate team. Midnight offers a flexible schedule (go ahead, play another sport!), while offering enough opportunities to develop a successful, competitive basketball player.
